What started off vintage with some lofty prices has become a search for guitars that are a bargain in today's market. Not that vintage pieces won't appear occasionally but I turned over a "new leaf" spending less dinero on quality instruments from the '70s to today. Even during 10 years creating a collection from the 1920-1960s I always continued to use my primary players like comfort food. These aren't American made guitars but Japanese and Korean from the lawsuit and post lawsuit era when craftsmanship and attention to detail gave the U.S. industry reason to become concerned.
